*** CLOSED DUE TO CONSTRUCTION *** Located in the heart of downtown Fate, this park is under construction. Construction has begun on the first phase of the park's master-planned redesign.  The areas in color are scheduled to be completed in late spring 2022.

The full master-planned redevelopment is below. 

On March 24, 2022, the Texas Parks and Wildlife Department (TPWD) approved a Local Park Grant Program for Fate Station Park. The grant will provide matching funds for up to $150,000 for a new historic railroad-themed all-inclusive sustainable playground. Below is a rendering of the playground. The historic downtown area was once home to several cotton gins and hosted a train station that served as both a mode of transportation as well as the movement of economic goods. The playground will be themed with a silo and train to give an echo back to our historic roots.
