May 7, 2022 - General Election (Mayor, Places 4 and 6)

First Day to File for a Place on the Ballot: January 19, 2022; Deadline to file for a Place on the Ballot: February 18, 2022, by 5:00 p.m. Candidate packets will be available on the City's website the first week of January 2022. 

City Council Elections 

Members of the City Council are elected for three-year terms on a nonpartisan basis. The Council is made up of seven members: a Mayor and six Council members. The Mayor is elected by the entire city. All six Council Members are also elected by the entire city. Once elected, Council members choose the Mayor Pro Tem and Deputy Mayor Pro Tem from among the elected members.
